We occasionally end up with open spots in our residency calendar when artists need to cancel or reschedule. In these situations, we turn to our list of backup applicants!

We accept applications for our backup list on a rolling basis. You can apply for a specific open date—always subject to availability—or to be added to our backup list for open spots in general.

HOW TO APPLY:

Simply click “APPLY NOW” below to fill out our application form and then pay the $10.00 application fee. Go to the shopping cart to complete the checkout process.

The application form asks for information about you, your plans for an artist residency if selected, a link to where we can see some of your artwork, and the dates you’re interested in.

A few notes regarding our back-up list:

• Submitting an application does not guarantee an artist residency.

• Backup applicants are not eligible for grant funds. Standard sliding scale residency pricing applies: $525–725 for one week, $1000–1350 for two weeks.

• You must complete the checkout process in order for your application to be submitted and considered for a residency.
